Private Yoga Lessons
Enjoy expert yoga instruction in your home or workplace. I can customize classes to be appropriate for all skill levels making this a fun and engaging activity for friends, family, and workplace gatherings. I love to work with students to find the right style and skill level that helps them progress within their practice.

Private Yoga Session Students can expect to learn the following:
How to breathe in a way that is particular to yoga practice, called ujjayi breathing
How to modify poses in a way that is unique to their body
How to use props
How to work with an injury or conditions they might have, that in the past, might have made someone hesitate to attend a group class
Explore meditation as an additional wellness tool
Learn challenging poses with one on one support
Do Yoga privately rather than with others and can schedule the session at their convenience
Ask questions during session
Will receive physical assists during the session in addition to learning the poses
It always comes down to anatomy
I believe in the importance of teaching basic anatomical principles in every class. While Yoga is both a spiritual and physical practice, one’s movement into the spiritual side of yoga can be facilitated when one is grounded into their body and their physical practice is solid. By understanding basic anatomy, we can avoid reinforcing unhealthy patterns of movement and help create new muscle memories that reinforce healthy alignment. In private yoga sessions, I will communicate the key anatomical positions and information that is translatable to daily living as well as help increase the self-correcting ability of students off the mat.
